well howdy sweet blog boo’s! long time no free time for this chick! my apologies for my absence. balance is a journey for this blonde nomad.
anyways I wanted to give you a peek into my offline labors of love. this little bed side stand was a diamond in the rough from my gram’s basement. I saw a little more in this sweet piece than a split top and a long loved finish…
in an attempt to get much needed rest while operating on opposite shifts, I finally broke and put a tv in our bedroom. to my near & dears it is no surprise I don’t rest well when my handsome is away.
jake and I have recently enrolled as students of dave ramsey in financial peace university {another blog all together}. the point is I am learning to use what is available *sigh* so I turned this used bed side treasure into a funky, mustard seed inspired tv stand for the corner of our bedroom. it was my labor of love for labor day weekend.
more treasures to come! and thanks for sticking with me after all this web nest is my true love and work is just details. {❤ knw}

I’m in love with the end result of your table, love the color – it’s SO happy! You did such a great job! I’ve gathered many things to refinish and have yet to break out the sand paper and paint yet (some of the to-do’s I’ve had for YEARS). Glad to see you posting again, you’re fabulous and I miss you much! xo
I love you the moon and back biz. I am just finding the minutes. it feeds my soul and I need more of that. I am ready for WB. let’s make it a November project? it is therapy for us and we need it. thanks for loving me and following me.
I absolutely love this tv stand, would be great to recreate something like this fOR my home!Any tips on how you went about upcycling this piece??
hi wonderful reader (:
no tips other than sanding {while a huge pain} is super key! getting the perfect paint and loving the shape of a piece is priceless. seeing the good in something “previously loved” as I like to say, is half the battle. please keep following- I have more to restore coming soon. I would love to see any fun pieces you re purpose or redo!
